Projects

Alex von Svoboda has completed an extensive collection of art commissions worldwide.  These include sculptures in marble, wood, bronze and other metals, as well as murals, donor recognition walls, mosaics, stained glass windows, architecture and interior design, and include many liturgical projects. 

Alex has been awarded several accolades including:

• Received International Graphics Award

• Received award from Pope John XXIII in Rome, Italy – 1966, to recognize his liturgical art and design in the church

• Received award from Pope John Paul II, in Rome, Italy – 1984, to recognize his bronze sculpture of the Pontiff.

• Nominated for the Order of Canada
